Pause and resume
You can pause a session at any time. Paused time does not count toward your XP - only focused time does.
How to pause
On the live session screen, tap the Pause button. The timer stops and a "Paused" state is shown. Tap Resume when you're ready to continue.
What happens if I close the app during a session?
GamiLife tracks live sessions through Convex, which keeps your session state in sync. If you return to the app after closing it during an active session, GamiLife will detect the ongoing session and let you resume or end it. Sessions that have been inactive for a long time may be flagged as stale and cleaned up automatically.
